The Omega accessible bath
The Omega is an accessible bath for anyone who finds a door and step too much. Instead of climbing in, you sit on its powered seat at the side of the bath, and it gently lifts and lowers you into the water, then raises you back out when you’re done. There’s no door to open, so you don’t have to wait in the bath while it fills or drains either. With a deep, contoured seat, fold-up armrests and battery backup for peace of mind, the Omega gives you a safe, supported soak with as little effort as possible.

Every Omega is fitted around you, so the final price depends on any extras you add, such as a shower screen. Prices start from £7,500, fully installed, with nothing hidden and no surprises.
If you’re eligible for VAT exemption, you will be VAT exempt on your new bathroom, so you won’t pay the 20% VAT, and we’ll guide you through that process. Flexible finance is also available, and it’s completely optional.
Is the Omega accessible bath right for you?
The Omega is built for people who need more help getting into a bath than a walk-in model can offer. There’s no door and no step: you sit on the powered seat, and it lowers you in and lifts you out. It suits you best if bathing on your own has become too much, and you’d like to keep enjoying a soak, safely and with support.
When a door is too much
If even a low step is difficult, the Omega has no door at all. Its powered seat lowers you gently into the water instead.

Common questions we get about the Omega accessible bath
How do you get into the Omega if there is no door?
There’s no door and no step to climb over. Instead, the powered seat sits at the side of the bath, you sit down on it, and it gently lifts and lowers you into the water. When you’ve finished, it raises you smoothly back up and out. You control it yourself with a lightweight handset that comes as standard, so getting in and out takes very little effort.
Do you have to sit in the bath while it fills and drains?
No, and this is one of the Omega’s biggest advantages. Because there’s no door to seal, the bath is filled and ready before you get in, so you’re not left sitting in an empty bath while it fills, or waiting in the cold while it drains. You’re lowered in once the water is at the right temperature and depth.
Who is the Omega best suited to?
The Omega is our most supportive bath, made for people who find a walk-in bath’s door and step too difficult, or who need more help to bathe safely. Its contoured seat, fold-up arms and powered lift do the hard work, and the seat takes a load of up to 165kg. It suits anyone who wants to keep enjoying a bath, on their own or with a carer’s help.
Can the Omega be used with a hoist?
Yes. The Omega has an optional Hoist Lift Access front panel, which makes it easier to use the bath with a hoist where that’s needed. If you or a carer already use a hoist, or think you might in future, mention it at your free home visit and we’ll include the right panel.
Will the Omega fit in my bathroom?
In most homes, yes. The Omega is 1700mm long and comes in two widths, 700mm or 750mm, close to a standard bath, so it usually fits where your current bath sits. It does need a little clear space beside it for the powered seat to move out and back, so we measure your room carefully during your free home visit and confirm the best fit before any work begins.

The Omega starts from £7,500, fully installed, with the final price depending on any extras you add. You’ll always get a clear, full price at your free home visit, with nothing hidden.
How long does the installation take?
Most of our full bathroom installations take three to five days. A straight swap of your old bath for the Omega is usually quicker, though the powered seat needs an electrical supply, which our team sorts as part of the fit. Our own employed, DBS-checked team always does the work, with no subcontractors, and we take your old bath away and tidy up fully at the end.
