Walk-in baths for safer, more independent bathing
A walk-in bath has a low, easy step and a door that seals watertight, so you can get in and out without climbing over a high bath side. Our range of walk-in baths are made for older adults and people with disabilities who want to keep bathing safely and comfortably at home. Our walk-in bath installation and design service starts from £7,353.
Choose the right walk-in bath for your bathroom
The right choice comes down to your bathroom size and how you like to bathe. Here are our three main types, from a full lie-back soak to a compact fit for the tightest spaces.
Full-length walk-in baths

What is a walk-in bath and how can it benefit you or a loved one
A walk-in bath lets you step in through a low-threshold door, and some models include seating, allowing people to sit down whilst they bathe. The purpose is to remove the need to step over a high bath side. For anyone who finds their current standard bath a struggle, but doesn’t want to give up the bath in their home, a walk-in bath can be the solution they need.
Bathe safely again
With a low step-in and seating available to add further support, a walk-in bath is much safer to get in and out of, and the chances of potential slips are reduced. For older adults and those with mobility challenges, it takes away that worry that may have started during bath time.
Regain independence
A walk-in bath makes the whole process of having a bath safer and much easier. This helps you regain independence, as a carer or loved one is less likely to be needed to provide a helping hand. You can start to bathe when you like.Â
Soothe aching joints and muscles
A warm and deep soak helps to ease stiff joints and tired muscles. A walk-in bath can bring real relief for those with arthritis or who experience everyday aches. Spa jets are also available as an added extra, providing gentle hydrotherapy in your home.
Relaxing the body and mind
A bath is more about getting clean. Relaxing in warm water provides a chance to switch off, ease stress, and enjoy a quiet moment in the home you love.
Dignity and privacy
A walk-in bath allows you to bathe independently again, in your own bathroom, and whenever you’d like. All of our models look like ordinary, standard baths, not a piece of mobility equipment; this helps keep your bathroom feeling like your own.Â
Stay in the home you love
Adapting your bathroom through installing a walk-in bath means you can bathe safely in the home you know, rather than needing to move or go into care. It helps to future-proof your home for years to come and provide peace of mind for you and your family.
Every price covers the whole service, not just the bath
The price on every one of our walk-in baths covers the bath itself, delivered and installed by our own employed team, plus everything it takes to finish the job and look after you once the bath is fitted.
Before any of that, your home visit and 3D design are free. We tailor to your needs, and you see your design and price first, with nothing to pay and no obligation to go ahead.
Included in the price of every walk-in bath
Supplied by us, delivered by our own team and installed by our expert fitters. The price you see on each bath is the price fitted, so there is nothing to add on afterwards.
If you are eligible, you will not pay VAT on your bath. Flexible finance is also available, and it’s completely optional. Check if you’re VAT exempt · See our ways to pay

Our commonly asked questions about walk-in baths
The questions about walk-in baths we are asked most often, answered clearly, so you have what you need before you book a free home visit.
What is a walk-in bath?
A walk-in bath is a bath with a low step and a door that opens so you can walk in and sit down, rather than climbing over a high side. Once the door is closed it seals watertight, so you can fill the bath and enjoy a safe, comfortable soak.
How much does a walk-in bath cost?
Our walk-in baths start from £7,353, fully installed. The final price depends on the model you choose and any extras you add, such as a powered seat or spa jets. If you are eligible, you will be VAT-exempt on your new bathroom.
Which size of walk-in bath should I choose?
It depends on your bathroom and how you like to bathe. Full-length baths suit a long, lie-back soak, mid-length baths give a deep seated bathe in less space, and compact baths fit the smallest bathrooms and en-suites. We help you choose at your free home visit.
Are walk-in baths suitable for wheelchair users?
Yes. Some of our models sit at the right height for a side transfer straight from a wheelchair, and others can be fitted with a powered seat that lowers and raises you. We will talk through the safest option for you during your visit.
Do you have to sit in the bath while it fills and drains?
Yes. Like any walk-in bath, the door has to close and seal before the water goes in, so you sit on the built-in seat while it fills and drains. We can fit thermostatic taps that hold a steady, comfortable temperature throughout.
What happens to my old bath?
We take it away. Our installation includes removing your old bath and any bathroom waste, so you can start using your new walk-in bath as soon as we finish.
Who installs my walk-in bath?
Our own employed, DBS-checked team does all the work, with no subcontractors. Every installation comes with a 12-month guarantee and our ForeverCare aftercare package.
