The Tennessee walk-in bath
The Tennessee is a mid-length walk-in bath built around easy entry. Its ultra-low step is just 115mm, the lowest of any walk-in bath we fit, and the extra-wide door means you get in without climbing over a high side. Inside, a built-in contoured seat and slip-resistant surfaces keep you steady and supported while you soak. Shorter than a standard bath, it’s a reassuring choice if getting in and out is your main worry, or if space is tight.

Tennessee walk-in bath specifications
From £7,500, the Tennessee fully installed
Every Tennessee is fitted around you, so the final price depends on any extras you add. Prices start from £7,500, fully installed, with nothing hidden and no surprises.
If you’re eligible for VAT exemption, you will be VAT exempt on your new bathroom, so you won’t pay the 20% VAT, and we’ll guide you through that process. Flexible finance is also available, and it’s completely optional.
Is the Tennessee walk-in bath right for you?
The Tennessee is built for easy entry, thanks to its ultra-low, extra-wide door. It suits you best if stepping over the side of a bath has become the hardest part, you’d like to bathe sitting down, and space is on the tighter side.
Stepping over is the hard part
The Tennessee’s ultra-low, extra-wide door gives the smallest step of any walk-in bath we fit, so there’s very little to climb over.
You have a smaller bathroom
Shorter than a standard bath, the Tennessee fits where a full-length model won’t, so you keep a proper bath.
You'd like to bathe seated
The built-in contoured seat and slip-resistant surfaces let you sit and soak safely, without lowering to the floor.
How the Tennessee compares, and when another bath suits better
All four of our mid-length baths give you a deep, seated soak in a smaller footprint. The Tennessee stands out for its low, easy step-in, so which suits you best comes down to your space and how you’d like to bathe.
The Georgia
Better if you’d prefer an inward-opening door, hinged left or right to suit your room.
The Oregon
Better if you’d like the deepest soak, with extra depth and width to relax in.
Tranquility
Better if you’d like a choice of two widths and an extra-wide door to sit and slide through.

Common questions we get about the Tennessee
Is the Tennessee easy to get in and out of?
Yes, easier than most. The Tennessee has an ultra-low step of just 115mm, the lowest of any walk-in bath we fit, with an extra-wide door, so there’s very little to climb over. Inside, you lower yourself onto the built-in contoured seat, and slip-resistant surfaces help you feel steady the whole time.
Do you sit or lie down in the Tennessee?
You sit. The Tennessee is a mid-length bath with a built-in contoured seat, so you bathe sitting upright rather than lying full-length. It still gives you a deep, warm soak, in a shorter bath that suits smaller bathrooms.
Do you have to sit in the bath while it fills and drains?
Yes. Like any walk-in bath, the door has to be closed before the water goes in, so you sit in the bath while it fills, and again while it drains. We recommend thermostatic taps, which hold the water at the temperature you set, so it fills to a steady, comfortable warmth with no surprises.
Will the Tennessee fit in my bathroom?
In most homes, yes, and it’s a good choice where space is tight. The Tennessee is 1225mm long and around 690mm wide, shorter than a standard bath. Its door opens outward, so it needs a little clear floor space in front, which we check when we measure your room during your free home visit.
How much does the Tennessee cost?
The Tennessee starts from £7,500, fully installed, with the final price depending on any extras you add, such as a heated seat. If you’re eligible for VAT exemption, you will be VAT exempt on your new walk-in bath, so you won’t pay the 20% VAT, and we can help you with this process. You’ll always get a clear, full price at your free home visit, with nothing hidden.
How long does the installation take?
Most of our full bathroom installations are fitted in three to five days. If you’re looking for a straight swap of your old bath for the Tennessee, this can often be done in a single day. Our own employed, DBS-checked team always does the work; no subcontractors are used. At the end, we tidy up fully and take your old bath away.
