The Oregon walk-in bath

The Oregon is a mid-length walk-in bath made for a deep, relaxing soak where a full-length bath won’t fit. It’s shorter than a standard bath but broad and deep, with a gently angled built-in seat, so you soak sitting upright. You step in through a low, inward-opening door, and slip-resistant surfaces on the seat and floor help you feel steady throughout. If you’d like a deep, warm soak in a smaller space, the Oregon is a lovely choice.

Is the Oregon walk-in bath right for you?

The Oregon is all about a deep, comfortable soak in a bath that fits a smaller space. It suits you best if you love sitting down into a proper deep bath, don’t have room for a full-length model, and would like a built-in seat to bathe from.

You love a deep soak

The Oregon is broad and deep, so you can sit right down into a warm, full-depth soak.

You have a smaller bathroom

Shorter than a standard bath, the Oregon fits where a full-length model won’t, so you keep a proper bath.

You'd like a built-in seat

The gently angled seat lets you bathe sitting comfortably, with slip-resistant surfaces to help you feel steady.

How the Oregon compares, and when another bath suits better

All four of our mid-length baths give you a deep, seated soak in a smaller footprint. The Oregon is the deepest of them, so which suits you best comes down to your space and how low you need the step to be.

Common questions we get about the Oregon

Yes. You step in through a low, inward-opening door, rather than climbing over a high bath side, and lower yourself onto the built-in seat. Slip-resistant surfaces on the seat and floor help you feel steady, and you can take your time getting comfortable. The step-in is 200mm, a little higher than some models because the Oregon is a deeper bath, so we always check it suits you at your free home visit.

You sit. The Oregon is a mid-length bath with a built-in, gently angled seat, so you bathe sitting upright in deep water rather than lying full-length. Because it’s taller and holds more water than a standard bath, you still get a proper, warm soak, just in a shorter, space-saving shape.

Yes. Like any walk-in bath, the door has to be closed before the water goes in, so you sit in the bath while it fills, and again while it drains. We recommend thermostatic taps, which hold the water at the temperature you set, so it fills to a steady, comfortable warmth with no surprises.

In most homes, yes, and it’s a good choice where space is tight. The Oregon is 1195mm long and 715mm wide, shorter than a standard bath, so it often fits where a full-length bath won’t. Every bathroom is different, though, so we measure yours during your free home visit and confirm the best fit before any work begins.

The Oregon starts from £7,500, fully installed, with the final price depending on any extras you add. If you’re eligible for VAT exemption, you will be VAT exempt on your new walk-in bath, so you won’t pay the 20% VAT, and we can help you with this process. You’ll always get a clear, full price at your free home visit, with nothing hidden.

Most of our full bathroom installations are fitted in three to five days. If you’re looking for a straight swap of your old bath for the Oregon, this can often be done in a single day. Our own employed, DBS-checked team always does the work; no subcontractors are used. At the end, we tidy up fully and take your old bath away.
