The challenge

A lip that grew taller every year

Maya’s shower had a high lip tray, and stepping over it safely was becoming harder. The rest of the room worked well enough, so the answer was not a full rebuild, just the right one.

Our solution

The right change, not the biggest one

We replaced the old shower with a low-level walk-in shower, added grab rails and a fold-down seat, and fitted a thermostatic shower and taps to keep the water temperature steady. A new basin and toilet freshened the room, while the heated towel rail stayed put, because it still did its job perfectly well.
