How a study became Helen's wet room

The challenge
A room that had never been a bathroom
Helen needed a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, and the best place for it was a former study. There was no plumbing, no drainage and no waterproofing, so everything had to be planned and built from scratch.

Our solution
Built from the ground up
We ran new plumbing and drainage into the room, tanked it, and created a level-access walk-in shower with half-height doors so there is nothing to step over and room to help if needed. Waterproof furniture, an LED-illuminated mirror, a comfort-height toilet and a grab rail by the toilet complete the room, over green anti-slip safety flooring.

A proper bathroom, where there wasn't one
Helen now has a practical, stylish wet room she can use in her wheelchair, in a room that had never been a bathroom before. Built once, and built to work.
