How we took the step out of Audrey's shower

The challenge

A tray that was getting harder to clear

Audrey was finding it difficult to step over her shower tray safely. The cubicle was tight to get in and out of, and the raised lip made every wash a small risk.

Our solution

A completely level floor

We converted the room into a fully accessible wet room with a completely level floor, so there is nothing left to step over. Waterproof wall panels and furniture keep everything easy to clean, a shower on a sliding riser rail adjusts to suit her, and a comfort-height toilet and modern LED mirror finish the room.

Audrey now has a bathroom that is genuinely easy to use and pleasant to be in, with a bright, low-maintenance finish that keeps looking after itself.
