The challenge

A bath he couldn't safely climb

Edward’s old bathroom had a traditional bath with a large step. Getting over the lip to reach the shower had become difficult, and every wash carried a risk of a slip or a fall.

Our solution

A walk-in shower, no step to fear

We removed the bath entirely and fitted a modern walk-in shower with grab rails and a handheld showerhead. There is clear, level access in and out, so Edward can shower without the worry of tripping or losing his balance.

Independence, restored

Edward’s bathroom is now bright, secure and easy to look after. He can shower on his own again, with the confidence and peace of mind that comes from a space built around him.
