The story

How Room 3 was rebuilt around a new bath

The challenge

A tired room around ageing equipment

Room 3 had dated tiling, an ageing assisted bath and very little usable floor space, with laundry trolleys and equipment taking up much of the room. It was hard to keep clean and harder to work in.

Our solution

A specialist bath, and a room to match it

We worked alongside Access Baths, who supplied and installed the new assisted care bath. Our team transformed everything around it: stripping the old tiling, upgrading the flooring, and fitting full-height wall panels for a cleaner, more hygienic finish. We also installed a new toilet with a fold-down support rail, a basin, grab rails and accessories.

The result

Easier for carers, better for residents

Room 3 is now a bright, hygienic space that works properly around the bath at its centre. The last of three rooms we refurbished at Horsfall House.
