Sophie's step-free transformation

The challenge

One step too many

Sophie’s old bathroom had a shower cubicle with a large step up. Getting in and out was becoming a real challenge, and she wanted a modern bathroom she could use independently.

Our solution

Tanked, sealed and levelled

We removed the old fixtures and tanked the whole room to make it fully waterproof. That let us create a seamless, level-access floor with no step at all, finished with a clear glass screen, a modern vanity basin and an illuminated mirror.

The result

Open, stylish and safe

Sophie now has a contemporary wet room that is easy to use and lovely to look at, sloped ceilings, skylight and all. Safe, independent bathing is back, and so is her confidence in her own home.
