Cancellation

Please note once we have despatched an item(s) to you, the item cannot be cancelled and the below returns process comes into effect with its respective charges.

If you wish to cancel your order before we’ve despatched it, please call 0800 999 8994 to request cancellation. We try to dispatch things very quickly so if you need to cancel your order please do so as soon as possible!

Returning Online Products

We hope you’re happy with every purchase you make with Age Care Shop, but if this isn’t the case, we hope to make the returns process as simple as possible.

  • If you discover a fault or damages on delivery, contact us via telephone or email within 48 hours to claim a full refund. Please note, photographic evidence of the damages will be required. If you do not contact us within the 48 hours, or you fail to provide evidence, Age Care Shop reserves the right to refuse a refund.
  • You have the right to return your unopened order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. After this period, or if the product has been opened or used, we cannot accept any returns.
  • To cancel your order, you must contact us via telephone to notify us of your decision to return. Below are our full details if you need to contact us for another reason.


Collection Return

To receive a full refund the product(s) must be either damaged on arrival or returned unopened and unused in the original packaging.

  • We will not refund you any additional delivery charges incurred by choosing independent couriers or delivery options not offered below.
  • If the product(s) are not returned in their original condition, Age Care Shop reserves the right to charge for repair or replacement of any product(s).
  • If on return of the goods, whether by post, self-delivery or courier, we find that necessary packaging is missing, we reserve the right to withhold the requested refund of the product(s).
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on product(s) that are Made to Order or have been specially adapted to suit your requirements.
  • If your product(s) were delivered by Standard Delivery and you wish to return them via courier you’ll incur one of the following charges, depending on the product.
  • At Age Care Shop we strive to save you as much money as possible. However, the charges below are incurred by ourselves when we arrange a courier to collect your item, so if you select a returns collection you are agreeing to pay this returns fee.

Guarantee 

If your products are professionally fitted, the product(s) and installation falls under Age Care Shop’s 12 month guarantee. This means a fault with the product(s) and/or installation is subject to a full refund/repair or replace.

  • If you discover a fault with your product or fittings that is not the result of reasonable use and wear, contact Age Care Shop within 12 months of delivery. You may where applicable be asked for photographic evidence. Unreasonable failure to provide evidence, or if Age Care Shop discovers the fault is the result of improper use, may result in the claim being refused.
  • To make a claim, you must contact Age Care Shop via telephone or email within the allotted time to inform them of the fault.
  • If you wish to receive a refund, please allow for up to 14 calendar days after the claim has been processed for the payment to go through. If after this time you haven’t heard anything, please contact Customer Services.
  • If you wish for the product(s) to be repaired or replaced, notify Age Care Shop and we will be in touch to arrange a suitable date. You will not incur any travel or installation costs.
  • You will not be required to return a damaged item to receive a full refund or to be eligible for repair or replace. If you wish to return your faulty product(s), you can arrange for our couriers to collect it at a cost.
  • If you submit a claim after the 12-month guarantee has expired, you will not be eligible for a refund, repair or replace.

Warranty

If you order an online Age Care Shop product(s) for delivery only, they are subject to Age Care Shop’s warranty. This means you are entitled to a full refund if you discover a fault with the product(s) unconnected with its fitting(s).

  • If you discover a fault with your product that is not the result of reasonable use and wear, contact Age Care Shop within 12 months of delivery. You may where applicable be asked for photographic evidence. Unreasonable failure to provide evidence, or if Age Care Shop discovers the fault is the result of improper use, may result in the claim being refused.
